Scope

These terms cover use of this website and tree care work carried out by Toro Tree Experts LLC under Louisiana Arborist Licence number 241613.

Quotes

Quotes are free and carry no obligation. A quote is based on what is visible and accessible at the time of assessment. Concealed conditions, for example internal decay only apparent once cutting begins, or buried services not identified by a locate, may change the scope and the price. Any change is discussed with you before the work continues.

Scheduling and weather

Tree work is weather dependent. High wind, lightning and saturated ground can make work unsafe or make heavy equipment access impossible. We may reschedule on that basis and will contact you as early as we can.

Site access and property

You confirm you have authority to instruct work on the trees concerned. Where a tree sits on or near a boundary, it is your responsibility to resolve ownership and any neighbour agreement before work starts. Please clear vehicles and moveable property from the work area. Some ground disturbance is unavoidable, particularly on saturated clay.

Utilities

Louisiana 811 is called before excavation and stump grinding. Private services not covered by 811, including irrigation, low voltage lighting and private drainage, must be identified by you.

Payment

Payment is due on completion unless agreed otherwise in writing. We do not offer credit terms to residential customers.

Liability

We carry liability and workers compensation cover and can provide a certificate of insurance naming you as certificate holder. Nothing in these terms limits liability where it cannot lawfully be limited.
