Tree Debris Haul Away by a Louisiana Licensed Arborist

After a squall line goes through, half the calls we get are not for cutting. The tree is already down, or the limbs are already on the ground, and what the homeowner actually needs is for it to be gone before the next parish pickup, which after a widespread event can be weeks away.

We haul debris as a standalone job. Cleanup is also included in every removal and pruning job we do, so you are not left with a pile.

What we take

Storm debris

Limbs and brush brought down by wind, in a pile or spread across the property.

Existing brush piles

Material that has been stacked for months waiting on a pickup that has not come.

Limbs from your own cutting

If you took it down yourself and only need it gone, that is a normal job for us.

Post construction green waste

Cleared vegetation and stacked brush from a build or a lot clean up.

Fallen trunk sections

Rounds and trunk wood too heavy to move by hand.

Hurricane season pre clear

Clearing accumulated deadfall before the season so it cannot become airborne.

How haul away runs

  1. Walk the site. We look at volume, access and where a truck and chipper can sit.
  2. Chip what chips. Brush and limbs go through the chipper on site, which cuts volume dramatically.
  3. Load the rest. Trunk rounds and material too large to chip are loaded out.
  4. Rake down. The area is raked so you are not left with a debris outline where the pile was.
  5. Haul off. Everything leaves the property the same day wherever volume allows.

What changes the price

Volume and access. A pile a chipper can reach from the driveway is straightforward. The same volume in a fenced back yard that has to be carried out by hand is a different job. Trunk rounds are heavy and slow to load. Mixed debris containing soil, fencing or construction material costs more because it cannot go through a chipper and has to be disposed of separately.

Why Choose Arborist Baton Rouge

A licensed arborist, not just a crew with a saw

Louisiana licenses arborists through the Department of Agriculture and Forestry Horticulture Commission. We hold licence number 241613. That is a verifiable credential, not a self awarded badge, and it means the person deciding whether your tree comes down has been examined on tree biology, hazard assessment and pruning standards rather than just owning equipment.

Forty years of Baton Rouge trees specifically

Local experience matters more here than it does in most markets. Knowing how water oaks fail, what a saturated clay root plate does under wind load, which trees Gustav weakened and how hypoxylon presents on a stressed stem is knowledge you only get from working the same parish for decades. We have been doing this in Greater Baton Rouge for more than forty years.

40+ years in Greater Baton Rouge

Insured, documented, and clean when we leave

We carry full liability and workers compensation cover and issue a certificate of insurance naming you as certificate holder before work starts, which is what your insurer or your contractor will ask for. Every removal and pruning job includes cleanup and haul away as standard. Customers consistently mention the same two things: the crew turned up when they said, and the site was clean afterwards.

What Our Customers Say

★★★★★

They removed an 80 ft tree that was rotting and right next to our house. Gave us a fair price and the expert team took it down with incredible skill and efficiency. They did a complete clean up and removal. So grateful to have this done especially with storms in the Gulf.
Andrew R.Baton Rouge

★★★★★

From the first call to final clean up the team was top notch. Timely, professional, respectful and efficient. Yard clean up and the removal and stump grinding of a 100 plus year old tree in the backyard that sat about 6 inches from the roofline of the house.
Lauren Z.Baton Rouge

★★★★★

Came to the rescue when I needed limbs removed. I was getting a new roof and realised the limbs needed to come down. He came over in 20 minutes and sent a crew within the hour. All debris hauled away. Very professional.

Tree Debris Haul Away FAQs

Will you haul debris if you did not cut the tree?

Yes. Standalone haul away is normal work for us and a large share of what we do after storms.

Do you take the chips or leave them?

Either. Chips make good mulch and plenty of customers keep them. Otherwise everything goes.

Can you get into a back yard?

Usually. Gate width is the limiting factor for the chipper. Where it will not fit, material is carried or dragged to the front, which takes longer.

Do you handle whole fallen trees?

Yes, that becomes a removal plus haul away, quoted together.

Is cleanup included when you do other work?

Yes. Every removal and pruning job includes cleanup and haul away as standard.
